the Hanarre Cultural centre is located on the site of Hongbupsa Temple, which is the home temple of Club Member and current Vice President, Kim Geon Woong. The cultural centre and Temple is located near to Hopo-Dong in Busan and is built on part of a large private site which is also home to the owner. the grounds. The temple site is self sufficient in terms of food and the visiting Rotary Club members were very lucky to be able to sample some of the culinary delights during a delicious dinner provided by the temple.
The temple has an expanding following and also offers temple stay programs for Foreigners so they can experience some of the local and Buddhist related traditions first hand. In fact the next temple stay program is on on Saturday 17th July and some of the Rotary Club of Busan Tongbaek member will join.
Heart felt thanks are extended to the Temple and staff at Hanarre Cultural Centre. A selection of photographs from the visit and meeting are included below.
